My fiance and I wanted to invest our money in a home rather then pay rent to someone else. We also wanted to move into a home that provided us the ability to grow our family as well as, we were looking for a home that was affordable, great quality, and that was located in a great community.

 

The sales process with Thomsen Built was SIMPLE! It was so easy to go through this process. There were no gimmicks or sales pitches. The gentlemen we dealt with were very personable, honest and easy to talk to. They were able to explain anything and had real answers to all of our questions. We could tell they believed in the Company and were excited to show us all the great benefits we would be getting if we purchased a Thomsen Built Home. The paper work was very minimal.  And being able to use the lawyer provided by Thomsen Built Homes was a great time saver.

Our main concern with buying a home is that we had a very short window to find a home and start the paperwork process – we were moving from across the country and were only able to stay in the city for four days to look at homes. We had done some research regarding the city, preferred neighbourhoods, etc beforehand, and had a list of properties we wanted to look at, but it was still a challenging process for sure. 

The sales process with Thomsen Built was very easy and stress-free; it was a little scary at first as it was our first time buying a home that was in the very early stage of construction, but the team at Thomsen Built  did an excellent job of walking us through the build, explaining the details, finishes, specs. Thomsen Built Team gave us a very personal experience; excellent response to any requests after possession. For example, before final grade was completed, the rear yard was muddy in the spring, so we asked for a temporary wooden walkway to be installed and the very next day after sending a request via email, we came home to a newly installed walkway from the garage to the house. We were very impressed!  The product, our home, turned out to be just like we thought it would, except even better. 

Our overall experience with Thomsen Built has been very positive experience;  All their standard specs are very high end and they have excellent design that flows well together. The sales team kept us updated throughout the process, even arranging a walk-through of our home as it was nearing completion via Skype as we were still in Ontario.
